- The Big Little Lies actress wore the same dress her daughter wore to Zoë Kravitz's wedding.
Like the rest of us, Bradley Cooper knows that good summer weekends are for catching up with friends. The A Star Is Born director was seen with pal and fellow actor Laura Dern on Saturday while out for lunch in New York City, according to People.
Keeping low-key, Cooper covered up with a baseball hat and aviator sunglasses while wearing a gray tee, red pants, Nike sneakers, and a backpack. Meanwhile, the Big Little Lies star went for a more boho-inspired look with a tiered paisley-print Zimmermann frock, hoop earrings, sunglasses, dark sneakers, and a cross-body bag.

Perhaps the best thing about Dern's dress was that it was previously seen on her daughter, Jaya Harper, whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Harper. (Harper and Dern were married from 2005 to 2013.)
The stylish teen wore the multicolored design while attending Zoë Kravtiz's star-studded wedding with her famous mom in June. Other Big Little Lies powerhouses—Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Shailene Woodley—were also in attendance.

Saturday's spotting marks a rare public appearance for Cooper, who's been out of the spotlight after reports broke in June that he and longtime girlfriend Irina Shayk had split. The couple, who share a two-year-old daughter named Lea de Seine, have not yet publicly confirmed the breakup. But considering their hush-hush nature when it comes to their personal lives, it's possible we won't ever get an official response.
Shayk was also in NYC this weekend. She attended the Formula E 2019 New York City E-Prix on Sunday while decked out in Burberry.

Unfortunately, Big Little Lies Season 3 isn't happening, so don't hold your breath for a Cooper cameo.
