Luke Newton certainly knows what he's doing on the dance floor, so he removed his earpiece while filming "Bridgerton" one day to prove it. Yet, without any instrumental music playing in his ear, "they told me I was massively out of time, so then I put it back in," he laughed at the press conference.

The set of the Netflix period drama must always be bustling because Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, often has a hard time focusing on the melodies playing in his ear. "I feel like I've got two left feet because I can't hear the music," he admitted. "I can hear everyone else talking."

Remembering every dance move, reciting the character's lines, listening to the director's cues, hearing the background dancers, and staying in beat with the music simultaneously is truly an incredible feat. Yet, just when Newton feels like he's perfected every step of the routine, it's time to do another take.

"Then you've got to change ears for [a different] side of camera, and it just becomes, like, headphone choreography," he said. "It's great."

Season 2 of "Bridgerton" is available to stream Friday, March 25, on Netflix.
